Ambience
Ambience was a fun personal project where I combined my love for music and design. I wanted to explore the functionality and beauty that portable Bluetooth speakers can bring to one’s experience.
Versatility
The vision for this design is to focus on its portable and stationary modes. The speaker can conveniently be removed from its dock to be taken anywhere. The dock not only charges the primary speaker but is also a supplementary speaker in itself which adds more low end bass frequencies when docked. The idea is to have a product that disappears in the background yet compliments your surroundings visually and acoustically.
The integrated touch interface displays song and artist titles as well as pause, play, back and forward controls. The dial ring on the speaker allows for a more interactive and tactile experience when changing volume.
