I’m Axel.
As a designer, I have the opportunity to use my creativity and imagination to help develop problem solving tools and products for people. I’m an industrial designer by trade but through my years of experience in the field I have also developed skills in UI design and UX research. Combining these different disciplines has allowed me to to see the different facets of design and help bring products to life. As a designer I feel compelled to speak for the end user to fulfill their unspoken needs.
I developed my design foundation at San Jose State University with a B.S. in Industrial Design. Since graduating I have helped design products with other talented designers and engineers in the realm of consumer products, life science, and medical to name a few. Working on various genres of projects has given me the yearning to face and accept new opportunities and challenges.
When I’m not designing I love spending time with my dog, playing music, and riding my motorcycle across state to enjoy nature. Finding beauty in my other interests is what helps fuel inspiration for design.
